How much does the urn cost at home?
An urn at home is quite inexpensive compared to other types of burial. Depending on the federal state, the price range is between around 1,890 and 2,090 euros.
How long can it take until cremation?
The cremation usually takes place within a week of the death. After that, there is no additional time pressure, as the urn can be stored at Benu until it is collected. Alternatively, we offer you the option of storing the urn with us for a longer period of time. We will be happy to advise you on this.
Do you need a coffin for cremation?
In Austria, it is a legal requirement that a coffin is used for the cremation of a deceased person. Typical untreated coffins made of solid wood, so-called cremation coffins, are used for cremation.
